Bike Safety
Spring and summer are the seasons for enjoying new bicycles. Please remember bicycle safety and that the law requires children to wear helmets while riding their bikes. The Rochester Police Department registers bicycle identification numbers, which help in identifying and recovering bikes that are stolen. The registration is optional and is not meant to indicate that all registered bikes are recovered. Safe and happy bike riding to all.
