This lesson is designed to teach students grades three
to five about the elements of art. At this age, it is important
to let them know what can help them be more successful when
creating art. It is important that students at this age try
to understand the way artists think when creating great artwork.
It will also
help
students become more familiar with famous works of art and
the artists that created them with a cooperative learning
environment.
Prior to beginning this WebQuest, we suggest that you show
the students a few famous prints and get their reaction
to
them. After the WebQuest is completed, have the students
review the same works and see if their reactions are different.
