• A 200 day student calendar.
• Students in Kindergarten to Grade 5.
• Grade 4 students in August 2012.
• Grade 5 students in August 2013.
• A personal Learning plan to accelerate all student's learning.
• French language instruction starting at Kindergarten.

Important Information Updates and Planned Events at MSMS...

Individual Learning Plans: MSMS staff designed a parent/child survey. The information gathered from this survey will serve as the foundation on which to build each child’s ILP. Please return surveys by July 16th.

Project Based Learning: MSMS staff has been working with consultant Rose Colby as we implement Project Based Learning into our curriculum. We are also using materials from the Buck Institute for Education as we plan our projects.

Saturday, August 4th there will be an Open House Breakfast from 9 - 10am.

August 29th “Official Opening Ceremony of Maple Street Magnet School”

This will be a student led ceremony held on August 29th at 1:30 , welcoming community members to MSMS to celebrate our new school and showcase student work. More information to follow.
