Registration for children who will be entering Kindergarten or Grade 1 in September will begin on the date listed below and will take place in the School Administration Office located in the Community Center behind the High School. After the date below, registration will be open for Grades K-5, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the same location. Enter the main door in the front of the building ~ take the elevator or the stairs to the 2nd floor, then to the end of the hall on the right.
Registration may be completed ONLY BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN
and MUST include the following documents:
1. Your child's Immunization
Record.
2. Your child's Birth Certificate.
3. Proof of Residency.

4. The completed Registration
Packet.
YOU MAY REGISTER YOUR CHILD WITHOUT A COMPLETED
PHYSICAL EXAM FORM BUT AN IMMUNIZATION RECORD MUST BE SUPPLIED TO REGISTER.
You will be notified of your child's school assignment by the end of June 2010 if all immunization and residency requirements are completed and returned to our office. If you have any questions about the registration process, call the Rochester School Department Central Office at 332-3678..
Please urge anyone you know whose child will
be five (Kindergarten) or six (Grade 1) years old by September
30, 2010 to call 332-3678 to register. Early registration
is important.
Children do
not need to be present at the time of Registration.
To complete registration, please bring items listed above – birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency – along with completed registration forms (below) to the appropriate location, according to the grade level of the student.
