Reads is a grassroots organization, whose dual mission is to ensure
that:
every
child is read to 20 minutes a day
every
child be reading at or above grade level by the end of grade 3

promote literacy in the community of Rochester:

City Halloween Party

Night Out
Book
Distribution – Rochester Reads provides “gently used” books free to
families attending any event.
We also have community sites where books are available for reading or
taking including:

Gerry's Food Pantry

Reads meets the 2nd Friday of March, May, July, September and December
Noon - 1 pm, usually at the Rochester Public Library, Rose Room 2nd Floor
Membership open to all interested parties
