  • The certified instructional staff of 17 classroom teachers, 5 special education teachers,  and 5 interventionist have more than 280 years of teaching experience.
  • Student transient rate was 29.9%.
  • Second  year of implementation of Open Court Reading
  • First full year with Reading Mastery, Corrective Reading, Voyager, Early Reading I, and Elements of Reading - Vocabulary (grade K-3 only).
  • Third  year of implementing Everyday Mathematics
  • First year using data meeting to drive student instruction in reading
  • Failed to make AYP in reading with special education and low socio-economic status students.
  • Failed to make AYP in mathematics with special education students.
  • 56 report cards issued with academic failures for violating school board attendance policy.
  • Students read in excess of 1.7 million minutes outside of school
  • Greater than a 350% increase in summer programming enrollment
  • Greater than a 500% increase in students attending at least 90% of summer programming
