Pathways to Success |
| Pathways to Success is our local effort of the national School
to Work initiative. This effort identifies that education and career
awareness is a lifelong process. Four major efforts at the high
school are School-to-Career
Opportunities, Career Education,
Senior Exiting Seminar,
and the Career Cluster
Concept.
Pathways to Success also has components at the elementary and middle
school level. |
|
The U.S. Department of Labor lists more than 20,000 job titles.
This number is unmanageable for use in career exploration. The Career
Cluster concept simplifies career exploration by grouping thousands
of job titles into one of five Career Clusters. These are:Arts,
Communication, & Humanities Business, Management, & Computer
