Horticulture

Students will learn the basics of horticulture while applying what they learn by practicing propagation and plant care techniques in the school greenhouse. There will be many activities in the areas of floral design, landscape maintenance, greenhouse/ garden center operations, and accessories manufacturing. “The Greenhouse”, the school’s own flower shop and garden center, will offer students the ability to work in a realistic retail environment. The FFA is a national organization in the field of agriculture, which assists students in developing their potential leadership, personal growth, and career success.
