The next PTA meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30 p.m. As always, childcare is available for parents attending.

TESTING
The month of May not only brings spring flowers, but a lot of testing. NWEA testing for grades 2-5, DIBELS for grades K-5, NECAP Science testing for grade 4, and Stanford Reading First testing for grades K-3 are planned. As always, it is important for students to get plenty of sleep and eat a healthy breakfast, so they can do their very best!

Staff Appreciation Week will take place the week of May 5th.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
Our book fair will take place from May 27th to May 30th in our cafeteria. There will be special preview days on May 22nd and 23rd. The Book Fair will also be open during our May Extravaganza on the 28th of May. Please contact Mrs. Price if you would like to help out.

There will be an early release on Wednesday, May 14th. Students will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. There is no kindergarten that day.

ELEMENTARY BAND SPRING CONCERT
The Elementary Band Spring Concert will be on Thursday, May 15th at 7:00 pm at Spaulding High School. Dress rehearsal will be on Tuesday, May 13th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. for Beginning Band and Wednesday, May 14th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. for Advanced Band at Spaulding High School.

WILLIAM ALLEN FIELD DAY
William Allen’s Field Day will be Wednesday, May 28th . The students in grades 1-5 will be leaving at 8:30 am. Please check the weather and have your child dress appropriately. Please put sunscreen on your child and/or send it in their backpack. Parents are welcome to join us at the high school to cheer and support the kids!

BEGINNING BAND FUN DAY
Beginning Band Fun Day will be on Tuesday, May 27th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Spaulding High School Band Room.

Please join us on Wednesday, May 28th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. for our annual May Extravaganza! There will be activities for the whole family to enjoy and a great cookout! Hope to see you there!
