In order to support student success, the BCA will offer extended learning opportunities to allow students to explore specific interests and discover new facets. Enrichment workshops will provide learning that reaches beyond classroom academics. Students will explore a wide variety of subjects and out of the ordinary topics. Workshops will be offered during the extended hours program with topics including but not limited to the following courses: Photography, Music, Art, Dance, Project Adventure, Graphic Design, Silk Screening, Web Page Design, Poetry, Songwriting, Personal Finance, Outdoor Survival, Geocaching, Orienteering, Model Making, Rockets, Balsa Wood Airplane Building, Fly Tying, Health and Fitness, First Aid, Work Co-op, and Job Shadowing.
Workshops will be taught by teachers as well as community members. Credit will be awarded for successful completion and mastery of workshop level competencies.
