Program Overview

The REACH Preschool Program is an integral part of the Rochester School District. The REACH Program serves children from the ages of three through five that reside in the city of Rochester. The REACH Program is housed in the East Rochester School and the Maple Street School. The program also serves children in select private facilities and/or children in their homes.

Our Services

Children between the ages of three and five with special needs are entitled to a preschool program. Our program allows children to be taught in a small, inclusive environment which meets their individual needs

Available Services

  • Preschool education: Utilizing the Creative Curriculum.
  • Assessment: Using assessment tools designed for preschool children.
    • Direct Services are available from Specialized Therapists
    • Speech Therapy
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Physical Therapy
  • Children are eligible to receive any or all of the above services when they attend our preschool.
  • Children are eligible to receive services on-site or as part of their program.

    The majority of the children in our program have special needs
    which are addressed in an Individual Education Plan.
