Teen Drug Court

Teen Drug Court Juror Recruitment

For next year’s 7th and 8th graders! (School year 2007-2008)
Imagine this…making friends and helping your peers while earning community service hours and having fun! How can you do this? Join Teen Drug Court!

If you are a seventh or eighth grader, you have the opportunity to be a juror with a group of other drug-free students. Teen Drug Court is a peer on peer jury, which receives cases from both Rochester Middle School and Spaulding High School when students violate the school drug/alcohol policy. Teen Drug Court practices Restorative Justice which means the jury works to help students not just punish them!

So, make new friends while helping your peers and performing community service…join Teen Drug Court today!

If you are interested or want to learn more then contact Ms. Sutton l.sutton@rochesterschools.com by May 25th so that you can attend an informational meeting. You can meet with TDC jurors, ask questions and then decide if TDC is for you. Four students will be selected to participate on next year’s Teen Drug Court.
