A Message from RMS Principal - Mrs. McKenney

Welcome to the Rochester Middle School web site.   
For those of you who have middle school children, you know that these three years are very important and begin to shape the future for your children as they leave childhood and become young  adults.

For those of us who choose to work with middle school children, the journey from grade six through the end of grade eight has many twists and turns. Here at Rochester Middle School we focus not only on academics, but also on helping our students develop a passion for learning and a desire to be good citizens.

There is a newly developed Code of Conduct here at RMS. 
The staff believes that these five rules will allow our school to be a safe place for all students to learn and grow.

RMS CODE OF CONDUCT
  Everyone at RMS has the right to feel safe.

 All students and staff will be respectful of each other.

Teachers have the right to teach.

 Students have the right to learn and no student has the right to disrupt the education of others.

Students are expected to follow the requests of the adults in the building.
