The students, faculty, and administration of Spaulding High School have been working to reduce paper consumption at SHS for over four years. We have seen amazing results, reducing our paper consumption by about 40%.
Through the use of technology (Honeywell, e-mail, texting, and Infinite Campus) we feel we are now ready to take the next step in this evolution of going paperless. Currently, Spaulding consumes approximately 10+ reams (5000+ sheets) of paper per quarter sending out progress reports, report cards, and various notices all of which are accessible through our Infinite Campus student information system. We recognize that not all residents have computer or internet access at home, but the number who do have computers or smart devices such as cell phones, IPads, etc is growing all the time and we are hoping to tap into that existing pool of technology to reduce our paper consumption.
If you are a parent of a Spaulding High School student and are willing to go paperless, please contact Lyn Curtin at
332-0757 x. 215 OR curtin.l@rochesterschools.com OR stop in the main/guidance/tech offices anytime we are open and indicate you are willing by providing your:

- Student’s name
- E-mail address – if you have one
- Telephone number(s) – Please indicate if you can receive texts or not
- Indicate you are willing to go paperless
- Indicate if you have ever signed up for our Honeywell instant alert system – If not we can provide support for you to do so
Thank you for aiding in our paper reduction movement
and more importantly,
our environment!
