Art classes offer students the opportunity to be creative using
a variety of materials and techniques. Good craftsmanship, careful
planning and original ideas
are requirements for all art classes. Students are expected to do
homework on a regular basis, complete projects on time and take
care of tools and materials.
In the regular art program, Art 1 is a requirement for all other
art courses. After passing Art 1 a student may select Art 2 or any
other advanced elective course.
Honors Art students are recommended and selected by art teachers
on an individual basis.
Note: All art courses will fulfill the State of
New Hampshire graduation requirement for 1/2 credit in fine arts.
