Honor Societies
Kitty Hawk Society (AFJROTC)
Kitty Hawk Air Society is an AFJROTC honor society. It has chapters all over the world and its purpose is to promote academic excellence and community service.
Mu Alpha Theta
Mu Alpha Theta is a national math honor society, which consists of juniors and seniors enrolled in Honors Trig, Honors ADV and AP Calculus are invited to join. The members of this club tutor, put on a citywide mathalon and take the AMC 12.

National Honor Society
Qualified juniors and seniors who have a GPA of at least 4.0, no failing grades, community service experience, leadership potential, and no incidences of character issues (such as academic dishonesty) are invited to apply to National Honor Society. Once inducted, requirements to remain in NHS include maintaining a GPA of 4.0 or higher with no F’s of any kind, five hours of community service each quarter, ten hours of community service over the summer, regular attendance at meetings and events, and no character issues or school discipline problems.

National Technical Honor Society

The R.W. Creteau Regional Technology Center is offering the opportunity to selected second year students for nomination into the National Technical Honor Society. Our mission is to honor student effort and achievement, cultivate the ideals of service and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance career opportunities for the NTHS membership. NTHS is the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. Over 2000 schools and colleges in the U.S. and its territories are affiliated with the Society. Requirements

Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica (Spanish Honor Society)

Spanish Honor Society is a community service-based organization, open to students in the 3rd level of Spanish who maintain a 90 average in Spanish, are of good moral character, and are willing to perform 24 hours of community service work each year. They must be recommended by their Spanish teacher. Member of this society also hold fund-raisers and participate in community service activities.
