paper and thumbtackPrincipal’s Corner

School St. School staff has increased over the years. Most days it’s hard to fit all our cars in the school parking lot. Some parents are pulling into the parking lot around morning arrival and/or afternoon dismissal. We ask that parents do not drop off or pick up students in our parking lot. Our procedures are in place to ensure the safe arrival and dismissal of all students. As it is stated in our handbook, the parking lot is for staff only during drop-off and pick-up. Thank you.

Bake Sale
From time to time we have Bake Sales. These help raise money for fieldtrips and class activities. Along with sweet treats, we always sell bagged popcorn as a healthy alternative. Items only cost 25 cents. Thank you to all the parents who send items in for these special events.

Chains of Kindness
Linking Rochester Schools Together
Starting February 6th – 24th

As a whole school and district wide, students will be earning paper chains strips by exhibiting KIND actions and words. We will work as an entire district to create the longest recycled paper chain in Rochester. We also need your help. A family letter will be sent home to inform you of our focus and goals for this rollout.
