Using SeaMonkey

  1. Getting Started with SeaMonkey® Composer

    1. To start using Composer you must first open up the SeaMonkey® Composer. You can do this by clicking on the SeaMonkey® icon on your desk top. ( if the icon is not available, go to the Windows Start menu, All Programs and choose SeaMonkey®.)
    2. After the browser opens choose File>New>Composer Page.
    3. An new Composer window will open.
      You will see that Composer looks similar to a word processor.
    4. Type some text into the page.
    5. Highlight the text then use the toolbar to make changes.
    6. To change the background color go to Format > Page Color and Background.
    7. This pop-up window will appear giving you choices
       of background colors, text colors, link colors and
       background images search options.
    8. Choose the Custom Colors radio button and then the colors you want for text, links and background. Preview your choices in the rectangle.
    9. Here is the page after it has been formatted.
    10. You can view your page in different ways.
