SHS Summer Jump Start

This summer school program is designed to help students acclimate to the high school environment, including academic, social, and behavioral expectations.

Over the course of four weeks, students will explore their individual strengths and challenges and learn practical strategies to manage them effectively. They’ll also be introduced to some of the career and technical education (CTE) courses available at Spaulding, giving them a preview of the many opportunities ahead. In addition, students will meet key staff members and become familiar with the supports and systems in place to help them succeed.

By the end of the program, they’ll have a stronger understanding of the skills needed to thrive at Spaulding High School—and feel more confident about their transition into ninth grade.
