🚍 Important Transportation Update 🚍
Due to the current driver shortage and route adjustments, pick-up and drop-off times have changed for all buses.
📌 Updated bus schedules are available here: https://www.rochesterschools.com/o/rsd/page/bus-schedules
For any questions, please contact our Transportation Manager at 603-509-2904.
Thank you for your patience and support as we work to ensure safe transportation for all students.

The Rochester School District’s cell phone ban is designed to keep students focused on learning, social connection, and safety during the school day. We know this change can be an adjustment, and we appreciate families working with us to make it successful.
✅ Ways Parents & Guardians Can Support at Home:
Talk about the “why.” Explain to your child that the ban is a state law and is not about punishment, but about creating a better learning environment without distractions.
Set clear routines. Encourage your student to silence and store their phone in the same spot (locker, backpack pocket, etc.) each morning.
Model good habits. Show your child that you also set aside your phone during meals, conversations, or important tasks.
Practice problem-solving. Reassure your child that if they need to reach you, the school office phone is always available.
Celebrate successes. Recognize your student when they follow the policy and share how proud you are of their responsibility.
💬 Family Tip: Encourage your student to use school hours as a chance to focus fully on learning and friends, and remind them they’ll have time for phones after school.
Thank you for supporting this important change — together we can help students thrive!

We've updated our Bus Route page. Routes and schedules may still be adjusted as we fine-tune for the new school year, and we thank you for your patience. Your child’s safe transportation is our top priority.
For questions, call the Central Office at 603-332-3678 or Student Transportation of America (Rochester) at 603-509-2904.

The Rochester School District Cell Phone Restriction and State Law is now in effect.
To support learning and reduce distractions, students are not permitted to use cell phones during the school day. This includes classrooms, hallways, and common areas. Phones must be turned off and stored in backpacks/lockers unless directed otherwise by school staff. As Exemptions apply to students who need their personal devices for medical, disability, or linguistic access, as preestablished in their individual plans
✅ What Families Should Know:
- If you need to reach your child during the school day, please call the main office — not their cell phone.
- Students who need to contact a parent or guardian may use the office phone with permission.
- Repeated violations of the cell phone policy may result in disciplinary action.
This policy was developed to help our students stay focused, protect instructional time, and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment for everyone.

We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing this expectation at home. Together, we can help our students succeed! 💙📚
