First days of school
The first few days of school for 2023-2024 are in the books! It was wonderful to see all the kids back in classrooms and meeting new friends. As this school year is now underway here are some reminders for our building.
For safety and privacy of all students we ask that parents wish their child a good day outside the building. Please do not enter the building without office approval.
All visitors must sign in at the office upon arrival.
If you need to dismiss your child early, they will be called to the front office when their ride arrives. For safety purposes we do not call students out of class before their ride arrives.
Early dismissals end at 2:45 pm. After that time you will be asked to enter the pick up line.
Please make sure your child knows how they are going home each day before they come to school. If there is a change, it is very important to communicate the change to your child's teacher and office staff. Keeping with the same routine is very helpful.
Attendance: per School Board approved attendance policy, absences will only be excused with proper documentation or by our school nurse. Please call if your child will be absent for notification purposes but a parent phone call does not excuse student absences.
Please return all beginning of year paperwork as soon as possible. Accurate information is crucial when we need to contact families and for transportation.
