Welcome Back to School Image w/Pencils

We are thrilled to welcome new staff members to our school community. It is momentous when staff join, just as it is, when new students enroll. We are pleased to share some information in this article, over the school year, about our staff.

Ms. Folsom shared the following for you:

Hello Chamberlain families! I will be teaching third grade this year.  Many of you may already know me as I have been working at Chamberlain for six years.  I have worked as a paraeducator in many different classrooms. I also helped with drama club for several years.  A fun fact about me is that I love Disney! I am so excited to be teaching third grade this year!  See you soon!!

Ms. Forsey shared the following:

"Hello Chamberlain Street School! My name is Ms. Forsey, and I am thrilled to be teaching third grade this year! This will be my third year teaching third grade, but my fifth year teaching overall. Before moving to New Hampshire, I taught in Boston! I love teaching third grade, it is one of my favorites. I wanted to let you all know a little about me!

I am originally from the United Kingdom, but moved to the United States with my family when I was three years old. I have a dog named Chester and an older brother named David. In my free time I love to go for walks on the beach or in the woods, but I also spend time reading books in my hammock. One of my favorite things to do is to travel! My favorite color is purple followed closely by yellow. I cannot wait to meet you all and have a wonderful year together!"

Ms. Ruscito shared the following:

Hello Chamberlain Street School Community! I am truly excited to be a new addition to your community as a Special Education Teacher! For more than 17 years, I have worked with children, teens and adults with special needs. My experience includes teaching at all levels, Kindergarten through age 21 as a Special Educator/Life Skills Teacher/Autism Specialist, working with students after school through the 21st Century Program and YMCA Teen Center, and working with the Moore Center and Work Opportunities as a job coach and respite provider for teens and adults with disabilities. I have also taught Kindergarten as a general education teacher. I am currently certified as a K-8 General Education Teacher, General Special Education Teacher, Reading and Writing Teacher and I am finishing my Principal Certification this year.

Although teaching and children are my passion, gardening and cooking are a second passion! I spend hours dehydrating, canning and pickling everything I grow! This year, I have grown 17 different types of peppers and started making my own hot pepper sauce! As I grew up in a New York, Italian household (grandparents came from Italy), cooking has always held a place in my heart; there is always homemade meatballs and sauce in my fridge.  Some of my other favorite things are Chinese Food, the color green, cats, moose, Gordon Ramsey, anything from the 80's, especially music, and the beach. I currently live in Manchester with my husband and cat. I have an adult daughter and son from my previous marriage and two step sons who are 13 and 14 years old.
