Welcome Mrs. Smith to Second Grade at McClelland!
I was born and raised in Rochester, NH and moved to the villages of Wakefield in 2000. I have worked in Human Resources and owned my own photography business before I went back to school to teach. I was a very involved parent and loved working and helping out at the school my two daughters attended, so in 2009 I took the leap and became a substitute at my daughters school, eventually became a paraprofessional and then went on to teach third grade for 6 years.
In addition to my career, I have raised two amazing daughters with my husband and I currently reside in Brookfield. I love dogs and have two Great Danes and an English bulldog. My other interests are traveling (which I do as much as possible), biking, running, and hiking.
I am so excited to start my next chapter in grade two, back in the city I grew up in and working in the same building as my daughter, Emily. I can’t wait to meet everyone!
