Good Morning McClelland Families!
Our goal is to ensure a safe and smooth dismissal procedure for all of our community.
This year we will utilize a quiet dismissal for Grades 1 through 5. This type of dismissal will allow students to be in classrooms until their ride arrives. Each student will be assigned a dismissal number. At dismissal time, these numbers will need to be displayed on the left hand side for duty staff to easily read and report to our main office. If you do not have your child’s number displayed you may be asked to loop back around to the end of the line. Please know this is an expectation that will keep our dismissal process running smoothly and efficiently.
Your child’s teacher will be reaching out to you today to confirm how your child will be going home each day. They will also share with you your child’s pick up number. Each student will be provided with two sets of their dismissal numbers. These can be picked up at our Meet and Greet this afternoon or they will be sent home with your child on the first day of school. If you do not have your child’s number by Wednesday morning, please call the main office at 332-2180 to ensure you have it for our PM dismissal.
