Hi, everyone! I'm so excited to be joining the McClelland staff this upcoming school year as a special education teacher. I come with 17 years in education, most of which was as a middle school social studies teacher. I look forward to working with students of all abilities and helping them reach their potential.
I'm not a stranger to McClelland as I have two sons currently attending, Asher and Caleb York. They are very excited to have me in their building.
In my spare time I enjoy yoga, reading, weightlifting, swimming, and a variety of artsy hobbies, the latest of which is calligraphy. White Lake is my happy place and you can find me there often during the summer. We have one cat, two guinea pigs, and a hedgehog.
