The McClelland School's community recognized September’s Might Mac of the Month recipients at the school’s Morning Meeting held in the school gymnasium on Friday, October 7, 2022. The Mighty Mac of the Month award is given to students that exemplify McClelland’s core values of being Safe, Respectful and Responsible.
Recipients of this award were selected by their classroom teachers as students that consistently follow school expectations and go above and beyond to support their peers. During the ceremony a short blurb provided by classroom teachers was read aloud by school administrators highlighting examples of the many ways these exceptional students are an asset to McClelland’s community.
Might Mac of the Month recipients for the month of September include: Charlotte Blouin, Even Rothwell, Jeremiah Coughlin, Harrison Stevens, Ryley Silva, Rubyrose Velazquez, Gracie Downs, Emma Desjardins, Owen Shedd, Dexter Hawkes, Kyirelle Corriveau, Aiden Poplawski, Michael Keating, Matthew Perron, Chayton Sitaba, Jaxon Croteau, Kamryn Sanford, and Madison St. Pierre.
Prior to the ceremony, students were able to enjoy a light breakfast with their families as part of the celebration. It was a great opportunity for faculty to connect with families and recognize this group of special, hard working students.
The McClelland community looks forward to next month where they can celebrate a new group of students and families at the October Mighty Mac of the Month Assembly!
