The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) recently held its annual Induction Ceremony, honoring 61 outstanding students for their achievements in career technical education. The event took place at the R.W. Creteau Regional Technology Center’s PL Space on December 11th, 2023, and it was a celebration of hard work, dedication, and excellence in their career technical education programs.
A symbolic candle-lighting ceremony was one of the main parts of the event. Each candle represented the guiding principles of the NTHS: skill, honesty, service, responsibility, scholarship, citizenship, and leadership. Current NTHS students Peyton Moberg, George Mitropolous, and Ty Wyman played a valuable role in the ceremony describing the purpose, motto, slogan, colors, and emblem of NTHS. The ceremony concluded with the official induction of the 61 students into the NTHS. As they received their certificates, the room was filled with pride and applause from family members, faculty, and peers. The newly inducted members of the NTHS are poised to continue their pursuit of excellence and make a positive impact in their chosen technical fields.
