National Technical Honor Society Induction Ceremony

R.W. Creteau Technology Center proudly inducted its 2026 members into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) during a ceremony held on Tuesday, February 10. The annual event recognizes outstanding students in Career and Technical Education programs who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service.
The ceremony opened with welcoming remarks from Michele Halligan-Foley, Director of R.W. Creteau Technology Center, who congratulated students on their dedication and achievements. Current NTHS member Julia Alie shared the purpose of NTHS and explained the meaning behind the organization’s colors. Fellow member Ashlyn Heon presented the emblem and insignia, along with the NTHS motto and slogan, highlighting the values that connect members across the country.
A symbolic candle lighting ceremony, led by Avery Grant, represented the light of knowledge and the responsibility members carry as leaders within their programs and school community.
The formal induction and recitation of the NTHS pledge were led by NTHS Advisor Lisa Kumph, as students were officially welcomed into the organization. The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Michele Halligan-Foley, recognizing the hard work, character, and commitment of this year’s inductees.
