Video & Photographic Arts student, Sadie Eames, creates a coloring book!

A year 1 Video & Photographic Arts student, Sadie Eames, created a 29-page coloring book as an individual summative. Sadie was inspired by her own love of doing hands-on activities such as drawing and coloring for this summative.

Sadie took photos of her Funko POP! Disney action figure collection and then created digital hand-drawn line art of each toy. Using her Photoshop skills that she has obtained in her Video & Photographic arts course she was able to create the pages and the front cover for the coloring book.

It was then taken to the Graphic Design studio where Mrs. Discoe showed Sadie how to layout the artwork for printing and how to assemble it for stapling. Now that the coloring books have been printed and assembled they will be distributed to the  students who attend Small Wonders, the preschool for the Teacher of Multiple Levels program.

Originally the intent was to have a few coloring pages for the preschool, but it turned into a book soon enough!
