Dear Families!
We are reaching out to share an important event highlighting the importance of our Trades Industries. A local non-profit “Bringing Back the Trades” is hosting a Trade Appreciation Event that will include demonstrations, discussions, and much more. This event will focus primarily on the Building Trades and Auto Industry. Families and kids will have the chance to speak with electricians, diesel mechanics, excavators, welders, electricians, and many other industry professionals.
The mission of Bringing Back the Trades is to remind our communities that Skilled Trades are worthy options for students and can lead to rewarding careers and financially supporting jobs. We would encourage families with school-age children to attend and especially encourage middle and high school students. Exposure, discussion, and visually seeing the possibilities; are all impactful experiences that may help your student imagine their future after high school.
