Good Afternoon! Your children will be coming home today with a permission slip to walk to Chamberlain School next Tuesday to see the student musical "Giants in the Sky". We will leave SSS at 8:45 and return by 11:15. We will keep a close watch on the weather and walking conditions! Please send the signed slip into your child's teacher by Monday the 6th. Also, we are sending home devices today IN CASE we need to have remote learning tomorrow due to weather. You will receive a notification from the district if there is a delay or remote learning. Thank you!

Good Afternoon! It was wonderful seeing all the beautiful smiles as students came back to school this morning! We are hoping that we will be in school tomorrow to see those smiles in person again, but with the pending storm, we are sending devices home with the students JUST IN CASE! Please wait to get an alert for the SAU Office and watch WMUR for updates.

Good Morning! Just a reminder for our PTO Meeting this afternoon from 3:15 to 4:15 in the school cafeteria. As I didn't receive any requests for childcare, I will not have staff available to cover. I hope to see YOU at 3:15!

I just want to take a few minutes to thank the parents that took the time today to call or email the school offering their support and words of kindness! This shows your level of trust in our school and is greatly appreciated. The boiler is up and running again, so we should be all set for tomorrow. Thank you also to the RFD and our Staff at Central Office!

Good Morning! We had to shut down the main boiler at SSS this morning and needed to bring the students outside for a brief period of time. We are back in the building, but don't expect the boiler to be back up and running until later this afternoon/early evening. With a beautiful sunny day, I believe we will be warm enough in the building for the duration of the school day, but if you wish to come and pick your child up before normal dismissal, please just give us a call (332-6483) and we will have them ready. Hello School Street School Families, On the week of January 9th, we will be kicking off the American Heart Association Kid’s Heart Challenge. This is a school wide fundraiser to benefit the American Heart Association. In PE class for the month of January we will be practicing skills that improve our cardiovascular health, like jumping rope! Participation in the fundraising is completely voluntary. Funds raised need to be turned in the week of January 30th. Students should come home with a Kid’s Heart Challenge envelope at some point this week which will have more details about collecting donations and how to register. Thank you in advance for your participation if you choose to do so! Here’s how you can help: ● Register: heart.org/KHC or visit our schools’ site at http://www2.heart.org/goto/SchoolStreetSchool
