As of last Friday, the 7-day Test Positivity continues to trend well over 10%, per School Board policy students and staff will be required to wear masks while participating in school activities through Friday, January 28th. It is important to remember that masks are to be worn at all school functions and events during this period of time.

Today the 7-Day Test Positivity has reached 10% or higher for the second consecutive day in a row (10.3% & 11%). Per school board policy relative to masks, all students and staff will wear masks while indoors for five days. Masks will be required tomorrow, November 18th through November 23rd. Hello everyone! We are excited to be able to hold a Meet and Greet this year. Tuesday August 31st - 2:30-3:30pm Kindergarten, First and Second Grades - 2:30-3:00 Third, Fourth and Fifth Grades - 3:00-3:30 Please come if you are able - meet your teacher, see the classroom, meet some old and new friends. Remember the first day of school for everyone at Gonic is Wednesday, September 1st.

Kindergarten Day: Your invitation was sent in the mail. Please join us for a special day that is all about our newest students at the Gonic School. Your child will participate in activities, take a tour of the school, have a snack and have time to meet the teachers and other adults who work with kindergarten students. The transition to kindergarten can sometimes be challenging for our young students. The goal of this day is to help ease anxiety with this transition and introduce or build on skills. Students will be able to learn the kindergarten routine as well as get to explore math and reading centers.
