We had a wonderful first day with our 6th graders today! It was such a pleasure to welcome them and start the year off on a positive note.

Wednesday, September 3rd: Only 7th and 8th grade students will attend school.
Thursday, September 4th & 5th: All grades (6th, 7th, and 8th) will be in school together, following our regular schedule.

We are so excited to welcome our students back for the new school year here at Rochester Middle School! As we get ready to kick things off, here is a quick reminder of our staggered start schedule for this week:

Wednesday, September 3: 7th & 8th Grades Only
Thursday, September 4: All Grades (6–8) Return Together
We can't wait to see our students back in the building, ready for a year full of learning, growth, and new opportunities.
As we begin the school year, please remind your student that cell phones must be turned off and put away during the academic school day. We understand that lockers have not yet been assigned, so we are simply asking that phones remain off and away during school hours to minimize distractions and support a focused learning environment.
