Today, in an effort to spread kindness to our friends in the elementary schools, Spaulding students made signs and greeted them as they arrived at school today. This is the first of many to promote kindness, boost self esteem, and mentor our younger citizens!

A group of seniors with Friends Forever went to Boston and volunteered at The Food Project. They helped to farm over two acres of land that is used to grow healthy vegetables for low income families in the Boston area. Then, they toured and worked at the largest homeless shelter in America that sleeps 500 people per night.

Our Health Occupation students raised $500 at a bake sale for the Kiddie Cornerstone Fund at Cornerstone VNA. The Kiddie Cornerstone Fund was established in 2016 to provide gifts for the organization’s pediatric patients to bring smiles to their youngest patients and to promote hope and healing at home. In addition to gifts, such as books, coloring books, and small toys, funds are also used to purchase gas cards to assist with transportation to medical appointments for families in need. Nice job!!

Join the Spaulding community in helping the Ukraine. We have partnered with a Ukrainian church in Manchester and everything that we donate is being given directly to Ukrainians overseas. Shipments are made several times a week. How can you help? 1. Donate to the Venmo account with the QR code attached. 2. Drop off medical supplies such as band aids, bandages, but please no needles or sharp objects. They are in desperate need of medical supplies! 3. Make a homemade card with words of encouragement. 4. New or gently used toys are needed. You can drop off supplies at our main office as well as donate online using the QR code that brings you to Venmo. Please help us as we support our fellow global citizens! Let’s make a difference together.
