William Allen School would like to welcome Ryan Gilpatrick as the new principal for the 2021-2022 school year. Ryan has worked in education for 20 years, starting as a paraprofessional in kindergarten. He taught college composition in Colorado, and he was an English teacher at Prospect Mountain High School in Alton, NH for 7 years. He moved into the Prospect Mountain Assistant Principal role for 5 years after that. For the last 3 years, Ryan was the Principal and Diagnostic Prescriptive Teacher at Tuftonboro Central School in Tuftonboro, NH. Ryan enjoys hockey, frisbee golf, hiking, biking, and playing guitar and banjo. He lives with his family in Wolfeboro, NH. Ryan received a Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in Education and Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire, a Master of Arts in English from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. He is very excited about being a part of the William Allen School community!
