🐾 Title I & You: What Every Mighty Mac Family Should Know

What is Title I Reading and Math program?\

Title I is a federally funded program that provides extra academic support to students who need help with reading and math.

The goal is to ensure every child meets state reading standards. It is not a special education program. It is simply extra help to build confidence and strong reading skills. We also hope that children will learn to love to read!

How It Works:
* Extra Funding: The government gives money to schools with high student populations.
* Targeted Support: Schools use these funds for extra reading and math teachers, learning materials, and technology.
* Small Groups: Students get extra help in small groups or one-on-one sessions.
* No Missed Core Classes: Lessons happen during regular school hours without missing core classroom instruction.
