WAS Families, We wanted to send an update that any student who rides bus 7 will have a delayed drop off time as the bus is scheduled to leave the school around 3:30. We will send out further updates if the delay continues.

William Allen School Reminder: Tomorrow, Wed. Jan 11th, is a 1/2 day for all students with a 12:15 dismissal. Please make sure that your child knows their dismissal plan and inform the classroom teacher if it is atypical.

Good Afternoon Families With our first round of anticipated winter weather coming our way it’s important that we are all prepared for the potential of remote and snow days. As inclement weather is anticipated, we will send home devices with students who have a signed technology agreement form. Families are encouraged to have their students confirm they have access to google classroom and ensure devices are used for school related tasks at home. All school closures or shifting to remote learning are shared through Thrillshare and can also be found on WMUR. For a remote day, we will have synchronous learning in the morning. This means that your student will be in a google classroom participating in live instruction with our staff from 8:30-12:15. Asynchronous learning will happen from 1 to 3. At this time you should expect your child to have independent work assignments they will be working on. All staff are available in their google classrooms to support students on independent work assignments during this time. Should you need any support, please reach out to your child’s teacher as the first point of contact. You can reach either myself or Ms. Mowatt on remote days through email, all emails and classroom links are located on our school website under the "staff" and "remote learning" tabs across the top. WAS Band updates: Advanced Band Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, December 1, 4-5 PM at RMS Beginning Band Dress Rehearsal: Tuesday, December 6, 4-5 at RMS Elementary Band Holiday Concert: Wednesday, December 7, 7 PM at RMS (Band students report to the RMS cafeteria at 6 PM.)

Families, WAS is excited to provide students and families with an opportunity to practice device care by transporting devices to and from school this afternoon. All students with a signed technology release form will be coming home with their school device this afternoon. Teachers will be communicating home device routines. It is important to remember that devices sent home are intended for school related activities. Families are encouraged to see if your student can log onto google classroom. If you have any trouble, reach out to the classroom teacher for support. Devices need to come back tomorrow. Questions? Call the main office at 603-332-2280.

Dear WAS Parents, Our phone service is back up and running. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as the problem was addressed.

Update for WAS Parents, At 12:20 today we started experiencing a school-wide phone outage. Phone calls to and from the school are not being received. Parents are encouraged to use email for communication until the situation is resolved. Once fixed we will send out another update.
