We are excited to announce that Leah Taylor is joining the R.W. Creteau Technology Center as the new Business Instructor!

Leah Taylor grew up in Rochester, NH and is a 1996 Spaulding High School graduate.  She began her teaching career with the banking program at Spaulding High School in 2006 for Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU).

Leah has a passion for educating students of all ages and over the years she focused on the importance of financial education. During her time at HRCU, she organized several CU 4 Reality Fairs at local middle and high schools, taught Junior Achievement classes to elementary and middle schoolers, created resources for families, and cultivated the curriculum for the banking program that teaches students how to become financial associates, with many being hired by HRCU after they graduated.

Since 2013, Leah has been the North East Regional Coordinator, Treasurer, and Vice President of the Credit Union Financial Education Network (cufen.org).  She now serves as the Media Coordinator.  Leah has also been a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor and has presented at many national conferences.

Leah has her Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing and Social Media and is currently working towards her Master’s in Organizational Leadership. When Leah isn’t in the classroom, she loves spending time with her husband, four children, and six cats! She loves traveling and exploring new places, finding hidden gems and awesome antiques at flea markets, and experimenting with new and tasty recipes. She enjoys art, designing videos, and any place by the water.

Between Leah’s experience and her joy for teaching students, Leah is going to make an excellent addition to the R.W. Creteau Technology Center!
