We are excited to announce that Patrice Hunt is joining the R.W. Creteau Technology Center as the new Teacher of Multiple Levels (TML) Instructor!

From the time Patrice was very young and played school with her stuffed animals, she knew she wanted to be a teacher! She began her teaching career 25 years ago teaching Pre-K at Shrewsbury Children’s Center Kindergarten in Massachusetts. Since then, she has worked in a variety of public and private settings with different age groups, most recently at Rochester Head Start for the past eight years.

Since 2013, she has been a mentor for future teachers from Spaulding and Great Bay Community College who were placed in her Head Start classroom for experiential learning and student teaching.  She was trained in Practice-Based Coaching in 2018 and has coached Head Start teachers helping them reach their professional development goals.

When Patrice isn’t in the classroom, you can find her spending time with her family, in her garden, reading, listening to music, taking photographs or at the ocean looking for shells and sea glass.

Patrice has her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Anna Maria College, a Masters in Educational Studies from the University of NH Hampshire and has her NH DHHS Master Teacher & Individual Mentor certification. Between Patrice’s experience and her joy for teaching students, Patrice is going to make an excellent addition to the R.W. Creteau Technology Center!
