Coming to the end of Know & Tell Peer 2 Peer week, one of the highlights was meeting the Governor for his proclamation. He gave us lots of time and our students represented Rochester very well!

Yesterday Ed Rising members participated in 'Wear Blue Day' sponsored by our Know & Tell Peer to Peer Ambassadors!


Congrats to the students who made it to the quarter finals before being eliminated at the FIRST Greater Boston Robotics Competition event which was held this past weekend. The competition and event was a huge bonding experience for the students who participated!

The aquaculture group in Environmental Science did a 600-gallon water change and adjusted the water chemistry in preparation for the arrival of 1000 post-larval shrimp. They will manage the system over the next few months and will harvest shrimp at the end of May! #CTE



Students in Personal Finance and HRCU’s Intro to Banking class learned about investments and making smart financial decisions from financial advisor, Rich Hilow, owner of Straight Forward Wealth Management. His advice, “Set your goals, invest in yourself, and start now!”


On Monday, March 14, Auto students participated in the NH State SkillsUSA automotive competition at Lakes Region Community College in Laconia. This competition included over 25 students from more than 8 different schools, and required students to demonstrate knowledge and hands-on skill necessary to repair modern automobiles. Students will learn how they placed at the awards ceremony in Salem. NH on Saturday. Wish them luck!

Students in Environmental Science 2 are working on several semester projects this year. On Friday the hydroponics group finished their first run and harvested about 150 heads of lettuce. They will do an experiment during their next run. #CTE #Proud2bRSD
